Timeform take you through the card at Exeter on Tuesday.

13:00 - CIGARISI (3) showed plenty of ability on his only start in bumpers and did so again when fifth on his hurdling debut at Taunton four weeks ago. He should prove capable of better with that initial outing under his belt and - 16 lb clear of his nearest rival on Timeform ratings - Cigarisi is taken to see off the attentions of bumper winner Mr Clarkson and can provide jockey Richard Johnson with yet another winner at this venue.

13:30 - LATE SHIPMENT (3) shaped encouragingly when second on his penultimate outing at this venue and duly confirmed the promise of that effort with a dominant success at Hereford last time. He was arguably value for more than the official winning margin that day (eased close home) and, while he has shown signs of temperament in the past, Late Shipment remains potentially very well-treated from just 9 lb higher in the weights and should prove extremely difficult to beat if arriving in the same mood here.

14:05 - MARTHA MCCANDLES (4) fared better than the bare result suggests when third on her penultimate outing at Lingfield, travelling strongly into the contention as the field took three-out and simply failing to stay the two and half mile trip in testing ground. That form is beginning to work out well and, with her latest effort best forgotten in the circumstances (may have found race coming too soon), Martha Mccandles is fancied to take advantage of what looks a lenient mark on handicap debut and can continue the fine form of trainer Alan King (five winners from last 21 runners).

14:40 - RAY DIAMOND (10) is well into the veteran stage of his career, but has run creditably in his first two starts of the current campaign and was beaten just three-quarters of a length when third on his most recent outing at Plumpton. That form gives him the edge over all bar Grand Gold on Timeform ratings and, with far more experience over fences than that rival, Ray Diamond appeals as the most solid proposition with the Placepot in mind and shades the vote in this fourth leg.

15:15 - BRAMBLE BROOK (2) shaped well despite being pulled-up on his most recent outing over this C&D, still travelling within himself when making a bad mistake five-out and struggling soon after. He can be forgiven one blip in a series of otherwise consistent efforts and should be thereabouts if bouncing back to the form of his second on chasing debut at Ffos Las.

15:50 - CASPER KING (3) proved better than ever when second on his most recent outing at Taunton and that form leaves him some 10 lb clear of his nearest rival on Timeform ratings here. There are signs creeping in that he isn't entirely straightforward (finished second in six of his seven starts under Rules), but a repeat of that latest effort should be good enough to see him placed at the very least here and Casper King rates an obvious selection in this final leg of the Placepot.

16:20 - LONGTOWN (7) looked a fairly useful prospect when second on his hurdling debut at Uttoxeter last month and should prove extremely difficult to beat if building on the promise of that effort here, with Over To Sam feared most for the in-form Harry Fry (five winners from last 16 runners).
