12:45 - Though A PLEIN TEMPS (3) didn't progress in form terms from his winning handicap debut when third over C&D last time, he now takes a drop in grade, and it would be no surprise to see him return to winning ways, being lightly raced, after all. He looks a banker for the places again here.

13:20 - ABRACADABRA SIVOLA (1) is prone to mistakes over fences, so probably isn't one for maximum faith, but does strike as a horse who could easily have more to offer from this sort of mark, having run just about his best race to date when winning on debut for David Pipe at Leicester in March. It could also be worth including CAILLEACH ANNIE (12) a winning pointer who caught the eye on her first start over fences under rules at Chepstow in October. She was not rushed that day and was allowed to find her rhythm out the back while the trio that finished ahead of her were on the sharp end. She should come on plenty for that experience and is an interesting runner.

13:55 - An interesting novices' chase. Vieux Lille should make a chaser and will have benefited from the experience of his chasing debut at Chepstow last time, though that wasn't as encouraging as it could have been. MISSED APPROACH (4) has the best hurdling form on offer and, with the looks and style of one who could be an even better staying chaser, he is an obvious choice.

14:25 - GOT THE NAC (1) was not seen to best effect under an aggressive ride at Musselburgh when last seen, and should be able to make an impact from this sort of mark based on his win at Newcastle prior to that (second won from 125 next time). The fitting of a hood looks a good idea given his free-travelling ways, and he looks a good bet against the likes of Crickel Wood, whose yard are struggling for form at present.

15:00 - LITTERALE CI (12) was fairly useful on the Flat in France for her former yard and, having since joined powerful connections, looks capable of running well. TYRELL (9) won twice over the summer on the Flat for Alan King (stays two miles) and also looks a player.

15:30 - ON THE ROAD (2) landed a hat-trick following a break a week ago at Fontwell and produced his best effort to date on form terms. He is unexposed around this sort of trip and may yet have more to offer. This looks a good opportunity to land the four-timer.

16:00 - This doesn't look overly competitive and Jaunty Inflight could easily become the latest horse to benefit from the switch to Dr Richard Newland.

Recommendation:

Win back GOT THE NAC in the 14:25

Placepot permutation:

12:45 - 3
13:20 - 1, 12
13:55 - 4
14:25 - 1
15:00 - 9, 12
15:30 - 2
