Timeform take you through the card at Bath on Monday.
"He certainly showed enough to suggest he remains on a fair mark at present..."
14:10 - DLTRIPLESEVEN (13) showed improved form to get off the mark on his most recent outing at Lingfield and gave the impression there could be more to come after just six starts in his short career to date. He showed signs of temperament on the day (getting himself worked up at the start and then racing in snatches), but will hopefully prove more tractable in blinkers for the first time here and is entitled to be thereabouts from a 7 lb higher mark in this opening leg of the Placepot.
14:40 - LA MANGA (13) proved disappointing when seventh on her most recent outing at Kempton, but was left poorly placed given how the race developed and is better judged on the form of her previous second at Wolverhampton. The way she finished her race suggested this trip will be well within her range and she looks worth including at a fair price in the Placepot. She is joined by ANNEANI (3), who has finished placed in each of her last five starts and can be expected to run another big race for the in-form David Evans yard.
15:10 - MR ROCK (2) shaped encouragingly when fourth on his return from eight months off the track at Windsor in July, keeping on well without being knocked about in the final furlong and giving the impression a stronger gallop would have been in his favour. He certainly showed enough to suggest he remains on a fair mark at present and - still relatively lightly-raced for a five-year-old - Mr Rock is fancied to confirm the promise of that outing and looks worth a small bet here.
15:40 - SPRING JIG (4) is steadily progressing and ran his best race yet when second at Kempton seven days ago. He was unable to hold off the late challenge of a promising newcomer that day, but still pulled two lengths clear of the remainder and - 2 lb clear of his nearest rival on Timeform ratings here - Spring Jig is expected to see off the attentions of Jive Talking and can give Jim Crowley another winner as he bids to become champion jockey for the first time.
16:10 - KATRINE (3) has been a model of consistency in her three starts for the William Knight yard and again ran well when second on her all-weather debut at Lingfield six days ago. She shaped as if the return to this longer trip would see her in an even better light that day and, although the improving Maazel is an obvious danger here, Katrine is taken to gain just reward for a series of brave efforts and can continue her stable's fine form of late (three winners from last 10 runners).
16:40 - The likely strong pace in this handicap over almost six furlongs should really play into the hands of PRECIOUS PLUM (4), who was well on top at the finish when landing an AW nursery last time, despite again still being keen (held up). Silvestre de Sousa was doing the steering that day and he maintains the partnership here, which is obviously a big positive, and a 5 lb rise may not be enough to prevent Precious Plum from following up in this final leg of the Placepot.
17:10 - MAYMYO hinted at a revival when eighth on his penultimate start at Leicester and confirmed the promise of that effort when fourth from 4 lb out of the handicap on his most recent outing at Ffos Las. That form leaves him 2 lb clear of all bar Caitie on Timeform ratings and he would appear to hold sound claims if building on that here.
17:40 - SECRETFACT resumed his progress with a dominant victory over this C&D last time, travelling strongly into contention as the field entered the final three furlongs and quickly putting between himself and the rest. He has a 13 lb hike in the weights to contend with here, but remains one to keep onside in his current mood and makes most appeal in the final race on this afternoon's Bath card.
