Timeform take you through the card at Taunton on Tuesday...
"If gifted an easy lead, he could prove tough to peg back in his current heart..."
Timeform on Iniesta
14:10 - Taunton's first race on the card is an open one, and it looks worth siding with INIESTA (2), who admittedly isn't the easiest to catch right, but he emerged with plenty of credit when a good second at Lingfield last time, faring comfortably best of those who contested a strong pace. If gifted an easy lead, he could prove tough to peg back in his current heart and looks the safest option. Stonemadforspeed, Flanagans Field and Ruby Russet make up the shortlist.
14:40 - A warm novices' contest, in which it's difficult to oppose MONTESTREL (11), who beat Quel Destin on debut at Chepstow in October, who has gone on to win his next five starts, three of those in graded company. He disappointed on his next start in Grade 2 company at Cheltenham in November, but he gave the impression that his debut success had set him back, and granted a break, he can get back on track. Sofia's Rock was useful on the Flat and created a good impression when winning first time up in this sphere in September, so rates as the biggest danger.
15:10 - FAIR KATE (5) made a positive start over hurdles when finishing third at Chepstow last month, giving the impression that she will be suited by a sterner test of stamina. The extra three furlongs this afternoon should therefore her suit, and it looks worth siding with her to find the necessary improvement to get off the mark over hurdles.
15:45 - SAN SATIRO (1) struggled on his chasing debut at Ludlow last May, when pulled-up, but he took a step in the right direction when returned to fences at Wincanton last time, finishing third. He isn't one for maximum faith considering he's prone to putting in the odd shocker, but he seems to be in reasonable heart at the moment, and handles today's trip fine. Paul Nicholls is in fine form at the moment, and he looks worth siding with.
16:15 - This race wouldn't look out of place on a Saturday afternoon, and it looks worth siding with one from the in-form Paul Nicholls yard, CAPITAINE (10). Nicholls has an excellent record in the race, he's won two of the past five renewals, and whilst Capitaine has had just the one start so far, he showed all of his ability was still intact when fourth at Newbury in November, and he could come on again granted a break and given a wind operation. He looks to be on a workable mark at the moment, and is taken to take advantage of it for his red hot trainer.
16:50 - DANBORU (3) caught the eye when second at Sedgefield on his first start for Tim Vaughan last time after a 259-day absence, giving the impression that he is more than able of winning a modest race. Fitness is no issue this time around, and he is fancied to find the required improvement needed for him to take this. All Kings is the only other who arrives on the back of a good effort and is respected, while Bodekin Point was better than the result on debut for his new yard.
17:20 - GOODNIGHTSWEETHEART (3) returned from a 655-day absence at Fontwell last month, finishing sixth, and she shaped better than the distance beaten suggests, travelling better than most before making a bad mistake two out and finishing tired. That is likely to bring her on, and she could prove to be a different proposition this time around. Tigeralley was ahead of the selection at Fontwell last time and the step up to 3m now should be in her favour, while Misty Mai is potentially well treated off her lower hurdle mark and is also shortlisted.
