Timeform on Blast of Koeman
Kalondra is the potential improver in the field on the back of a fine third in a valuable handicap at Cheltenham in April and a big run looks on the cards. He is at his best on a sound surface and should get a good enough gallop to aim at here. Sub Lieutenant fared best of the five to run in Wednesday's Galway Plate and has plenty going for him. Sandymount Duke is another lively contender
Blast of Koeman was arguably unlucky not to win (jockey lost his irons when awkward at the last) a competitive handicap at Punchestown last time and still looks on a decent mark. His consistency is hard to knock and he seems sure to make a bold bid. Listen Dear is greatly respected despite her long absence, whilst The West's Awake and Show And Go also merit consideration.
Beautiful Citi is progressing nicely in this sphere and is fancied to complete a hat-trick. She didn't need to improve to win her latest start at Killarney, but she is entitled to do better still on just her fourth start to date, and can provide Joseph O'Brien with a winner. Willie Mullins has had a good week and could well end it on a high with Dorrells Pierji who looks the big danger.
