After a glut of racing yesterday there is only one flat meeting in the UK. Nick Shiambouros has a couple of selections from the interesting Nottingham card...
"I am going to side with Bella Nouf who is open to a great deal of improvement after her promising debut behind the talented Irish Rookie in a maiden at HQ last October."
15:15 Nottingham - Paco's Sunshine
This is a super competitive handicap, but I am going to take a chance on the lightly raced Paco's Sunshine.
This filly hinted at ability on debut last June when finishing a closing second to Horsforth in a Beverley maiden. She has been a little disappointing since that decent effort, but ran fairly well on her handicap debut when finishing behind Stranghow at Beverley earlier this month.
Clearly this race will not take a lot of winning, and I think she could be open to some improvement. This appears to be her ideal trip and the stable is in fair form.
She is currently trading at 20.019/1 on the exchange and is worth an interest. I would advise backing her in the win and place market at BSP.
16:45 Nottingham - Bella Nouf
This is the most interesting race on the card in my opinion with plenty of promising types on show.
I am going to side with Bella Nouf who is open to a great deal of improvement after her promising debut behind the talented Irish Rookie in a maiden at HQ last October. She was not given a hard race and the experience will not be lost on her.
The Newmarket maiden she came out of has thrown up plenty of winners which is significant.
She is trading at 3.9 on the exchange and I have backed her at this price.
Figment will probably start favourite after meeting trouble behind Angel Vision at HQ earlier this month. She is the likely danger to the selection.
