Timeform pick out three bets from Salisbury on Sunday.

Adamant - 15:30 Salisbury

Adamant raced just twice as a two-year-old last season and looks the type to make a useful three-year-old. He had the re-opposing Earthly as well as another subsequent winner behind him when winning his maiden at Windsor in October, and with plenty of Sir Michael Stoute's runners winning first-time-out this term, he looks a good option here. Elas Ruby has to be respected for John Gosden, while Haulani is probably still on a fair mark.

Paris Protocol - 16:30 Salisbury

Paris Protocol didn't go on from his promising fifth on his reappearance last season, but wasn't seen to best effect in the likes of the King Edward V Stakes afterwards, and is well worth another chance now he is down in the weights with his yard going well and having been gelded over the winter. He should be suited by this sort of trip on pedigree and the booking of Ryan Moore is interesting. The Tartan Spartan is also unexposed and ran well on his handicap debut at Musselburgh last time, so is respected.

Mitigate - 17:00 Salisbury

Tipping Mitigate is a little risky given she was clearly amiss in a hot conditions race at Newmarket on her last start, but it is difficult to forget the smart turn of foot she showed when landing her maiden at Lingfield prior to that, and with her opening handicap mark looking very lenient based on that win, she is worth chancing. Cheval Blanche has returned an improved performer this year and she is again of interest, whilst Aristocratic makes most appeal of the 4-y-os.
