Nick Shiambouros returns with two more selections from the flat meeting at Doncaster...
"I think this son of Showcasing has a lot more to offer, and is fairly priced at 3.412/5 on the exchange"
14:15 Doncaster- Natajack
Natajak should go close in this interesting maiden.
This colt created a favourable impression when finishing a close second to Musawaat at Newbury last September. He delivered a strong challenge a furlong from home, and was only just denied. The form was given a boost when the fourth and fifth went on to win a race. I think this son of Showcasing has a lot more to offer, and is fairly priced at 3.412/5 on the exchange.
Debutant Benbatl is the short priced favourite at 2.245/4 on the exchange. This Dubawi colt comes from a good family, and there is plenty of stamina in the pedigree. He will be suited by further over time and may find this trip on the sharp side. I suspect he will trade bigger near the off.
15:55 Doncaster - Chemical Charge
Chemical Charge has an excellent chance of getting his head in front again after finishing second in his previous five starts. This talented performer has been placed in Listed and Group company and is favoured by the conditions of this race. His best piece of form last season was a second place finish behind Sir Isaac Newton at the Curragh. He receives weight from most of the field, and is reasonably priced at 3.211/5 on the exchange.
Muntahaa heads the market at 2.789/5 He did finish fourth in the St Leger last season, but was beaten a long way. I think he will be suited by the shorter distance, and this lightly raced individual should have more to offer. He rates as the main danger, but the selection should have his measure strictly on the book.
