Lost In Time - 14:00 Epsom
Lost In Time had little trouble getting off the mark on his most recent outing at Salisbury, again impressing with the way he went through the race, showing plenty of speed before forging clear in the final furlong to win comfortably by three and a half lengths. That form could hardly have worked out better, with the runner-up just one of several to advance his form when winning next-time-out, and Lost In Time looks sure to mount another bold bid of his own now starting out in handicaps from a potentially lenient mark, 2 lb clear of the field on weight-adjusted ratings for the Saeed bin Suroor yard that heads into the final weeks of the season in top form (six winners from last 19 runners at the time of writing).

Edinburgh Castle - 16:45 Epsom
Edinburgh Castle is likely to have his supporters in what doesn't look the strongest race of its type, but his overall profile identifies him as one to take on. Indeed, the fact that we haven't seen him since his debut second at Bath last October suggests that he hasn't been easiest to train, and even that form leaves him with plenty to find if he is going to bridge the gap with the standard-setting Memphis Bleek, who shaped better than the bare result at this course last time and will be suited by the step back up in trip.

King's Caper - 14:30 Epsom
2 - Mark Johnston's number of winners in past 2 runnings
Mark Johnston has won the last two renewals of this race - which guarantees the winner a place in next year's Derby - and he is likely to have high hopes of bringing up the hat-trick this time round with King's Caper. Unbeaten in his last three starts, there was plenty to like about the way that he did the job at Chelmsford last time, just kept up to his work to give weight and a beating to the fairly useful Wild Thunder, and a repeat of that performance might well be good enough to see him extend his winning sequence here, the standard-setter on weight-adjusted ratings who has an uncomplicated way of going that should stand him in good stead around this course.
