Timeform pick out three bets from Wincanton on Sunday...
"He shaped as if the step up to this trip would see him in an even better light..."
Mr Mix - Wincanton 14:45
Mr Mix ran well after five months off when third at Chepstow last time, again not always jumping fluently but rallying well late on. He shaped as if the step up to this trip would see him in an even better light and can go well now handicapping if keeping the mistakes down. Last year's winner Gentleman Jon could be set for a return to form, while market support for Our Sox starting out for Anthony Honeyball would need noting in a competitive heat.
Diamond Guy - Wincanton 15:55
Diamond Guy could do no more than see off a limited bunch on the bridle in a course bumper back in April, and he rates a well-above average hurdles recruit for the in-form Paul Nicholls yard. He can get off the mark in this sphere at the first time of asking, though Contented changed hands for £70,000 following a promising run at Thurles and is respected, while point-to-point recruit Storm Home and previous winner Smaoineamh Alainn also make some appeal.
Global Thrill - Wincanton 16:30
Global Thrill has won comfortably at Stratford on his last two starts, including when forging clear to score by five lengths eight days ago, and he remains potentially well treated despite a 9 lb hike in the weights here. Indeed, that form gives him the edge over Templier on Timeform ratings, and he looks sure to go well again. Ivor's Queen arrives in good form and could be the one to give Bernard Llewellyn's charge most to do ahead of Starlight Court.
