Yankee Doodle Boy got tired in the closing stages when seventh over C&D last time out, but the very weak pace that's forecast should play into his hands, and he's fancied to make a bold bid from the front to take this moderate affair. Solar and Souper Courage head the dangers.

#5 Alta Velocita - Monmouth R2 (18:18 BST)

Alta Velocita showed plenty to work on when finishing fourth over C&D on debut earlier this month, and with that experience likely to have taught her plenty, she's fancied to take a step forward to win this very winnable maiden. Big Looker is the biggest threat.

#6 Kabuki - Monmouth R3 (18:46 BST)

Kabuki made all when returning to winning ways at Finger Lakes last month, and although she's likely to face competition for the lead from Southern Touch this time around, the form of that most recent success is the strongest on offer here by a stretch, and she can prove too classy for this field.
