1.50 Tally Ho Stud Irish European Breeders Fund (C & G) Maiden 6f

Timeform Top Rated:
89p 11. NORTH WIND Aidan O'Brien Donnacha O'Brien
88p 13. VIDIYNI M. Halford Jamie Spencer
73P 10. NATIONAL GUARD Aidan O'Brien Seamie Heffernan

Analyst's Verdict:
It looks significant that Ryan Moore partners newcomer Cardini ahead of stablemates National Guard and North Wind, both of whom arrive here on the back of promising debuts. The case for Cardini will be all the more compelling if there's confidence behind him in the betting and he may well lead home a Ballydoyle 1-2-3. Vidiyni shaped well on his introduction at Dundalk is best of the rest.

2.25 Tattersalls Gold Cup (Group 1) 1¼m110y

Timeform Top Rated:
134 2. DEFOE Roger Varian Andrea Atzeni
133 1. CLIFFS OF MOHER Aidan O'Brien Ryan Moore
131 3. LANCASTER BOMBER Aidan O'Brien Seamie Heffernan

Analyst's Verdict:
British raiders have landed 4 of the last 5 renewals of this prestigious race and Defoe is taken to uphold that recent tradition. Roger Varian's charge is clearly still progressing judged on his victories at Newbury and Newmarket this season and he is marginally preferred to Cliffs of Moher. Ballydoyle second-strong Lancaster Bomber can claim minor place money.

3.00 Airlie Stud Gallinule Stakes (Group 3) 1¼m

Timeform Top Rated:
119p 6. PLATINUM WARRIOR M. Halford Shane Foley
114p 8. HARVESTFORTHEWORLD J. A. Stack Jamie Spencer
108+ 10. SIZZLING Aidan O'Brien Seamie Heffernan

Analyst's Verdict:
This looks ripe for Platinum Warrior, who was a fine fourth in the Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial last time and he remains open to improvement over this trip. Harvestfortheworld wasn't beaten far in the Leopardstown 1000 Guineas Trial and will be a threat if this stiffer test proves suitable. Sarrocchi could be the pick of the Aidan O'Brien-trained trio, for all that Ryan Moore prefers Conclusion.

3.35 K Club (Guineas Festival) (Premier Handicap) 1¼m

Timeform Top Rated:
113 13. ESPOIR D'SOLEIL D. K. Weld L. F. Roche
112 15. ADMODUM J. S. Bolger K. J. Manning
112 9. BREATHE EASY Gavin Patrick Cromwell W. M. Lordan

Analyst's Verdict:
Preference is for Wooster, who has done nothing wrong since joining this yard and probably would've won at Leopardstown last time but for experiencing traffic problems. Espoir D'Soleil misfired at Navan when last seen in October but she was progressive prior to that and may have more to offer this year. Spruce Meadows also has claims.

4.10 Tattersalls Irish 1000 Guineas (Group 1) 1m

Timeform Top Rated:
132p 4. CLEMMIE Aidan O'Brien Seamie Heffernan
129 6. HAPPILY Aidan O'Brien Ryan Moore
125p 10. SOLILOQUY Charlie Appleby William Buick

Analyst's Verdict:
If the positive tactics which served her so well in the Nell Gwyn are again employed, Soliloquy could take some stopping. She clearly wasn't the same force under a more patient ride in the 1000 Guineas yet, to her credit, was only beaten around 3 lengths. Happily was ahead of Soliloquy at Newmarket but arguably lacks the scope of the Godolphin filly and stablemate Clemmie could be a bigger threat.

4.45 Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund 'Habitat' (Premier Handicap) 1m

Timeform Top Rated:
112+ 14. ST GALLEN John Joseph Murphy K. J. Leonard (5)
111 2. AMBASSADORIAL M. Halford C. O'Donoghue
111 5. MASTER SPEAKER Adrian McGuinness T. M. Sherry (10)

Analyst's Verdict:
This step up in trip should suit Ambassadorial, who acquitted himself well in listed company at Naas last weekend and is appealing back in a handicap with first-time blinkers enlisted. St Gallen is 4 lb 'wrong' at the weights but will nevertheless be a live danger if he puts his best foot forward, while the selection's stablemate Saltonstall is also worthy of consideration.

5.20 Curragh "Where Champions Are Made" Handicap 2m

Timeform Top Rated:
110 6. WESTERN BOY P. A. Fahy Fran Berry
107 11. NEVERUSHACON Mrs J. Harrington T. P. Madden (5)
105 1. CLONGOWES J. S. Bolger K. J. Manning

Analyst's Verdict:
The one who appeals most is Thomas O'Malley, who posted solid efforts in defeat in a couple of handicaps at Dundalk earlier in the year and he remains on a workable mark. Likely to be cherry-ripe following a pipe-opener over hurdles last month, Western Boy is a strong candidate in first-time cheekpieces. Others to consider include Clongowes, Song of Namibia and St Stephens Green.

5.55 Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Maiden 1¼m

Timeform Top Rated:
90p 8. LUCIUS TIBERIUS Aidan O'Brien Donnacha O'Brien
89 5. ESCAPABILITY Mrs J. Harrington C. O'Donoghue
85p 13. ROCKABILL Joseph Patrick O'Brien W. M. Lordan

Analyst's Verdict:
Rockabill caught the eye when fourth on debut at Dundalk and, with this stiffer test likely to suit judged on pedigree, he could be the answer to what has the makings of an informative maiden. Dawn Trouper makes plenty of appeal on paper and may emerge as the main danger ahead of the Ballydoyle trio, headed by Ryan Moore's pick Gardens of Babylon. Manzil is another likely-looking newcomer.
