Timeform pick out three bets from Greyville on Sunday.

"...he should run a huge race again this afternoon..."

Goliath Heron - 11:50 Greyville

Goliath Heron showed plenty of ability in his Barrier Trial when a length third without being unduly punished over five furlongs here earlier in the month and will have learned plenty from that experience. As a son of Master Of My Fate he will certainly improve for the step up to six furlongs this morning and with Sean Veale taking over in the saddle on Dennis Drier's colt, a huge run is expected from Goliath Heron here.

Redcarpet Captain - 14:45 Greyville

Redcarpet Captain will need to step up to the mark to take this Grade Three contest but he does arrive here in good sorts for trainer Mark Dixon after a run of top three finishes stretching back six races now. Equally effective from six furlongs to a mile, the son of Captain Al was last seen finishing a three-quarter length second to Monks Hood at Scottsville who franked the form with an easy win in the Gauteng Guineas next time out, suggesting Redcarpet Captain has a sporting chance again today.

Taranaki - 15:55 Greyville

Taranaki has proved frustrating for connections so far with five places from seven starts but no victories - yet. Admittedly he ran his worst race on the polytrack here last time out when an eight length third over seven furlongs when looking one paced but everyone has an off day, and he is hopefully better judged on a three-quarter length second over the Scottville mile the race before. With the return to that trip and the turf expected to suit and the Dennis Drier stable in good form, he should run a huge race again this afternoon.
