This looks a useful race of its type, and Designer Destiny is taken to build on his encouraging hurdling debut at Newbury last time. That looked a hot race, two potentially smart types pulling well clear of the remainder, and Designer Destiny ran about as well as could be expected (sent off at odds of 50/1) to finish fifth. This looks an easier assignment, for all there are some equally progressive types in opposition, and Harry Whittington's lightly-raced five-year-old is fancied to go close here.

Song of The Sky romped home to win by 15 lengths over fences at Lingfield earlier this month, showing improved form to do so, but that was a thin race, and she will likely be overbet now returned to hurdles from what could be a lenient mark. She remains a maiden in this sphere and is worth taking on as a result.

Dan Skelton has his string in great order and has a good record at this track, so his Idee de Garde has to be of interest in the first. He attracted support and was beaten only by a head on his first start for 10 months over this C&D earlier this month, looking the winner on the run-in but just caught on the line. He looks up to winning races from this mark and is taken to go one place better now.
