Jay Kay - 13:30 Southwell

Jay Kay is well and truly thriving at present, following up his Ayr win over the same C&D under a penalty by three lengths earlier this month. He has won at Southwell in the past, which bodes well given the surface, and he is able to race off a 2 lb lower mark now back on the all-weather, so he seemingly has plenty in his favour. House of Commons is a C&D winner who is potentially well handicapped and looks the chief danger.

Free Stone Hill - 14:40 Kempton

There are a few in here who could improve now sent chasing, but Free Stone Hill shaped with plenty of encouragement on chase debut at Fontwell this month, immediately matching the pick of his hurdles form. His stamina was possibly stretched that day so the return to shorter looks a positive move and he seems sure to win races in this sphere. Bach de Clermont and Siruh du Lac both appeal as the type to do well over fences, while Movie Legend should go well again if ready to roll on his return.

San Benedeto - 16:20 Kempton

Paul Nicholls could dominate here, with San Benedeto, who did really well over fences last term, taken to make a winning return to hurdling. He managed to win six times over fences last season, making up into a smart performer, and looks the one to beat returned to timber, likely at the main expense of stablemate Old Guard. The front-running Rayvin Black may prove best of the remainder.

Timeform UK SmartPlays:

Win back Jay Kay in the 13:30 at Southwell
Win back Free Stone Hill in the 14:40 at Kempton
Win back San Benedeto in the 16:20 at Kempton
