Nick Shiambouros struck again yesterday when his best bet Sir Dancelot won at Newbury. Nick returns with a lay advice and a big priced selection from Pontefract...

Time to take on Order
14:00 Pontefract - World Order
I will be pushing the lay button on World Order in this novice stakes.
This colt has rock solid credentials and is the clear form choice on the book, but has not looked entirely straightforward in his short career. He should have won on debut in April, but was worried out of it near the finish by No Lippy. His best effort was probably in the Windsor Castle when beaten just over nine lengths behind Soldier's Call. I get the impression that he is a weak finisher, and probably does not like a fight. The headgear is applied today which is not a good sign. At present he is trading at 2.0811/10 on the exchange.
Don Logan is my idea of the winner. He was not disgraced behind So Brave on debut and improvement is expected. Along with the improving Dark Solution I have two legitimate chances of beating the favourite.
Dark has a bright chance
15:35 Pontefract - Darkanna
Darkanna could run well at a decent price in this Listed sprint.
This filly was last seen in a Group 2 in Doha in February when finishing down the field behind Tip To Win.
As a two-year-old she won a Listed race at Redcar, and finished an excellent fourth to Clemmie in the Group 1 Cheveley Park at HQ. Trainer Richard Fahey has given her a nice break to recover from her exertions in Qatar . If she brings her best level of form to the table she will go close. At present she is trading at 18.017/1 on the exchange.
Foxtrot Lady ran very well when finishing sixth to Gifted Master in the Stewards' Cup at Goodwood earlier this month. She is back with her own sex today and must be respected.
