Both Arabian Gift and Quivery make plenty of appeal on paper and hold Group 1 entries so may well emerge as the chief dangers.

Crushed - Doncaster 15:00

Crushed showed plenty of ability in two starts as a juvenile and looks the type to prove much better as a three-year-old, worth noting that he has close ties on pedigree with Beaten Up, a very smart stayer for the same connections. The tough and likeable Alexander M will ensure it's not plain sailing for the selection, while progress from Doctor Cross cannot be ruled out.

Humble Hero - Doncaster 15:30

Humble Hero went agonisingly close at Windsor last month and, with the distinct possibility of better to come from this well-bred colt, he is taken to get the job done this time. Like the selection, Fibonacci and Chief Craftsman both remain open to improvement, while Sea Sovereign should pick up a race before long and likely-looking newcomer Helf needs a market check.
