Timeform Top Rated:
129 3. HALSAFARI Michael J. Bowe B. Hayes
128 6. GETADAY T. J. Nagle Jnr D. E. Mullins
127 1. LADY WRITER Denis Hogan D. G. Hogan

Analyst's Verdict:
Halsafari found only the in-form and progressive Eight And Bob too strong in a Fairyhouse handicap last month, and he will take plenty of stopping. The hat-trick seeking Lady Writer merits respect, but her victories have both been gained over 3m and Getaday, who is clearly not short of ability despite his maiden status, is preferred for forecast purposes.

2.35 Kerry Group Irish European Breeders Fund Shannon Spray Mares Novice Hurdle (Grade 3) 2¾m

Timeform Top Rated:
153 10. WESTERN VICTORY Colin Bowe Sean Flanagan
150 7. MOSKOVITE Denis Hogan D. G. Hogan
148 2. SAPPHIRE LADY W. P. Mullins P. Townend

Analyst's Verdict:
This could boil down to a straight fight between Western Victory and Moskovite. The two that finished in front of the latter at Clonmel occupied two of the first three places in Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham on Friday, which was a timely form boost. Still, preference is for Western Victory, who chased home the exciting Honeysuckle at Fairyhouse and should relish this stiffer test.

131p 3. CAPTAIN CJ Dermot Anthony McLoughlin D. J. Hand (7)
130 12. SPYGLASS HILL Henry de Bromhead Rachael Blackmore
129p 14. WHERE EAGLES DARE Noel Meade Sean Flanagan

Analyst's Verdict:
Smart bumper performer Carefully Selected is a most promising recruit to the hurdling ranks and is taken to prove a cut above his rivals. Of the rest, Captain Cj and Spyglass Hill make most appeal.

123 20. LAGENOD Rodger Sweeney Reserve
122 1. SESKINANE Brian M. McMahon J. J. Slevin

Analyst's Verdict:
The Grey Guy shaped encouragingly over C&D on return in December and is back down to his last winning mark. Wee Small Hours and Epsilon Indi head the dangers.

4.15 Charleville Cheese Irish European Breeders Fund Mares Novice Chase (Dawn Run) (Grade 2) 2¾m120y

Timeform Top Rated:
153p 2. MISSY TATA Gordon Elliott Davy Russell
151p 5. REDHOTFILLYPEPPERS W. P. Mullins P. Townend
150 3. MOYHENNA Denis Hogan D. G. Hogan

Analyst's Verdict:
Redhotfillypeppers was fault-free in making a winning start over fences here over Christmas and looks sure to win more races. Missy Tata has done nothing wrong since joining Gordon Elliott and she rates the main threat in pursuit of her seventh straight win.

Timeform Top Rated:
154 5. MALL DINI Patrick G. Kelly Sean Flanagan
139 2. DAKOTA MOIRETTE Gordon Elliott J. W. Kennedy
132 1. CARRIG CATHAL S. J. Mahon D. E. Mullins

Analyst's Verdict:
While this trip is certainly plenty sharp enough where Mall Dini is concerned, he should nevertheless prove very hard to beat in a maiden chase bigger on quantity than quality. The clear pick for forecast purposes is Dakota Moirette, while Thosedaysaregone and Carrig Cathal can scrap it out for minor honours.

5.25 Liam Hogan Memorial Handicap Chase 3m120y

Timeform Top Rated:
137 10. ROCKY'S SILVER James Daniel Dullea Conor Orr (5)
131 1. CAPPACURRY ZAK L. Young R. P. Treacy (3)
130 18. WITNESS OF FASHION Patrick Rooney Reserve

Analyst's Verdict:
Rocky's Silver was unable to complete the hat-trick at Tramore but it was still his best effort over fences and could still be ahead of his mark. Glorious Galway is next best ahead of Cappacurry Zak.
