Timeform on Saglawy
Sir Oliver - 15:05 Goodwood
Sir Oliver very much caught the eye on his qualifying run at Wolverhampton five weeks ago, travelling better than most but caught further back than ideal, and a big run looks on the cards now entering handicaps from what looks a lenient mark. Spygate was only just denied on his nursery debut at Hamilton two weeks ago and the step up to seven furlongs should suit.
Charles Kingsley - 16:50 Goodwood
Charles Kingsley has been contesting much stronger handicaps than this all season, and is likely to be popular down in class, but his most recent runs have come at further, so he could prove vulnerable at this sharper trip. Three-year-old Lariat is entitled to go well and looks a better option getting the weight-for-age allowance.
Saglawy - 16:25 Curragh
20% - W. P. Mullins's strike rate with horses running over 10f+
Willie Mullins won back-to-back renewals of this in 2015 and 2016 and he again holds a strong hand in this year's renewal. Of his four runners it is Saglawy who makes the most appeal following his impressive return to action in a minor event at Listowel last month. That was his first start on the Flat for these connections, and he rates the type that can land a big pot on the Flat from this sort of mark.
