Sister Sibyl has made an encouraging start over fences and is fancied to open her account here. She was in the process of running well before departing just when the race was starting to heat up at Ludlow in January, yet to be asked for a serious effort. Providing she has a clear round here, she is well up to winning a race of this nature. Golden Vison has an absence to overcome but has won when fresh and appeals as the type to make a chaser.

Virginia Chick - 15:25 Warwick

The form of Virginia Chick's win at Ludlow in January has been well advertised since and Evan Williams' six-year-old should have more to offer still. This rider got a good tune out of him last time, and a subsequent 9 lb rise may not be enough to stop this progressive type completing the four-timer. Hillary View and Oskar Denarius are similarly on an upward curve and also worth considering.

Imperial Knight - 17:30 Warwick

Imperial Knight made an encouraging start when third at Fakenham last month and could be the way to go with improvement on the cards, although strong market support for point recruits Nobby and/or Clondaw Anchor would put a slightly different slant on things. The Philip Hobbs newcomer Melchior King is another interesting runner.
