14:20- Shady Glen stands out here, having made a promising transition to fences based on his first three starts. He was in the process of running well at Warwick last time, looking unlucky to depart when he did, having stumbled on landing after taking the fence well enough, and he looks the most solid option in a weak-looking contest.
14:55- Swing Hard's mark has dropped significantly on the back of a poor 2014/15 season, but he could be favourably handicapped as a result, considering the form his yard are in at present, and looks worth including along with Zama Zama, who is more consistent than most at this level.
15:30- Mullinavat went well for a long way on handicap debut at this track last time out, and has place claims from a 3lb lower mark, considering his fair bumper form, with Richard Johnston taking over in the saddle. Pattara put in a much-improved effort to get off the mark in style at Huntingdon last time in a first-time tongue strap, and although the form of that race isn't strong, she could go well again from an 11lb higher mark.
16:05- Jimmy Shan remains lightly-raced, and looks on a fair mark if able to build on his first hurdles start for Tim Vaughn. Elsewhere, Patrick Cowley is a good booking on Bit of A Jig, who was a fairly-useful chaser at one time, and could go well from this sort of mark if a change of scenery brings him back to any sort of form.
16:40- No getting away from the ex-Aidan O'Brien-trained Francis of Assisi, a listed winner on the Flat who made a smooth transition to hurdles (via Charlie Appleby and then John Ferguson) at Stratford earlier this month, and he is open to plenty of improvement under a penalty here.
17:10- Kayla lacked the turn of foot to deal with an above-average Flat recruit in a messy race at Worcester last time. She is expected to improve for the step up in trip here, and as a fair bumper winner is preferred to Tir Dubh, who has had plenty of attempts to get off the mark in this sphere.
