Timeform pick out their three best bets from Naas on Saturday...

"...given connections were harbouring Triumph Hurdle aspirations afterwards suggests he’s held in some regard..."

Timeform on Konitho

Pravalaguna - 14:10 Naas

Pravalaguna was useful over hurdles, and she built on her chasing debut as expected after eight months off when winning by eight lengths at Limerick in December. She produced a near-faultless round of jumping, disputing the lead and travelling well before pressing on after the ninth fence, in control when left in front at the last. Pravalaguna isn't the biggest, but she looks the one to beat here in what doesn't appear to be the strongest listed race.

Konitho - 14:40 Naas

French recruit Konitho made the perfect start for new connections when winning a juvenile event over C&D by five lengths two weeks ago, never far away and always travelling well. He showed a good turn of foot to assert between the last two flights and, given connections were harbouring Triumph Hurdle aspirations afterwards suggests he's held in some regard. Stablemate Band of Outlaws and Maze Runner are feared most.

Velocity Boy - 15:10 Naas

Velocity Boy shaped a bit better than the bare result at Fairyhouse in December, left with a lot to do and generally not seen to anywhere near best effect. He was making headway when he hit the third from home, not persevered with once held. This race doesn't look as competitive, and having fallen to a handy mark, he is one to be interested in at present. Bilbo Bagins looked better than ever when runner-up at Galway in October and is feared most ahead of Peculiar Genius.
