Timeform pick out three bets from Cork on Saturday.
"That form sets a clear standard back in maiden company..."
Timeform on Shapes
Scream - Cork 14:10
Scream showed a bit when seventh on her debut at Leopardstown in October and, likely to be more comfortable on this going than some, she makes plenty of appeal for the Ger Lyons yard that has a good record with horses running after a break (£35.62 level stakes profit). Twenty Minutes is another who seems sure to make up into a better three-year-old and could be the one for the forecast ahead of Luzum, who has been gelded since his sole start at Leopardstown in June.
Zamroudpour - Cork 14:45
Zamroudpour caught the eye on his racecourse bow when a running-on third at Dundalk in December and should prove tough to beat in first-time blinkers here, with the extra quarter mile a big plus on the evidence of his first start, too. Stoic Soul ran well on his debut as well and could improve enough to follow the selection home, while Tullyallen is better than the bare form figures suggest and may well take the final placing.
Shapes - Cork 15:55
Shapes may be worth the risk despite her ten-month break, having shown a fairly useful level of ability when last seen finishing six lengths third to Alpha Centauri in a listed race at Naas. That form sets a clear standard back in maiden company, so Ger Lyons' charge looks difficult to oppose. Shareva is the most likely to take advantage should she falter, though Rawaan is also lightly raced and could easily find the necessary progress to get involved in the finish.
