Love Happens - 13:15 Durbanville

Love Happens is in the capable hands of the in-form Justin Snaith stable and went in to many a note book after a highly promising four-and-a-half-length third to True Words at Kenilworth, showing signs of inexperience before the penny dropped late on. Upped a furlong in trip here, which should suit the son of Silvano, Love Happens can improve past all of these and come home alone.

Alfolk - 13:30 Vaal

Alfolk gets in here with bottom weight for trainer Mike de Kock despite winning his second race in a juvenile plate in July by a very easy four lengths from Snow Boarding (winner since) at Turffontein. Likely to improve again after just the five starts, the speedily bred son of Lonhro out of an Exceed And Excel mare can go on from here and with Ryan Munger riding, Alfolk should take all the beating today.

Brave Mary - 14:05 Vaal

Brave Mary arrives here at the top of her game for trainer Paul Matchett after winning her last two starts, the first over course and distance (by six and a half lengths in a maiden), and the latest by an easy length and three-quarters over a furlong further than this at Scottsville in the Grade 1 Allan Robertson Championship back in May. She does have a long lay-off to overcome but looks likely to go on to be one of the better sprinters, and Brave Mary can win this before going on to better things.
