Jerrysback failed to stay when well beaten in the National Hunt Chase at the Cheltenham Festival in March, but he finished runner-up in a couple of Grade 2s as a novice last season and looks to be on a fair opening mark on his return to action. The drop back in trip should suit him nicely and he is expected to be bang there for the in-form Philip Hobbs yard.

Odyssey Girl overcame both inexperience and market weakness to make a winning debut a shade cosily at Newbury in July but has not markedly improved on that form in her four subsequent runs. She did produce a better effort on her latest appearance when second in a minor event at Wolverhampton but there has to be a question as to whether she is capable of knuckling down well enough to win races her ability suggests she should.
