Timeform pick out three bets from Kenilworth and Turffontein on Saturday.
"Magical Wonderland can make it five out of five under top jockey Aldo Domeyer..."
Volcanic Sunset - Turffontein 12:40
Volcanic Sunset has been found a suitable opportunity by leading trainer Sean Tarry and may not need to improve at all to take this event. Last time out the son of Visionaire finished a four length third to Eyes Wide Open and Lucky At Last at Scottsville when perhaps left with a bit too much to do over the mile. He wasn't stopping at the line that day and now they know he has the required stamina they can ride him closer to the pace, and that may be all that is needed for Volcanic Sunset to come home in front at the seventh attempt.
Rockin Russian - Kenilworth 15:45
Rockin Russian may well make it an across the card double for Sean Tarry here if she can take full advantage of the weight she receives from the rest of the field. The daughter of Seventh Rock has only won once in her five starts but was only a length and three-quarters behind Bella Sonata at Turffontein last time out in the Grade Two Spring Challenge earlier in the month over a fraction further, and if Lyle Hewitson can coax a repeat of that effort or better, Rockin Russian does look attractively weighted today.
Magical Wonderland - Kenilworth 16:20
Magical Wonderland has won four out of four now for trainer Candice Bass-Robinson and will make a bold bid at extending that sequence in this Grade Two contest. Last time out she won a Class C Progress Plate by a comfortable three-quarters of a length at Durbanville when running on strongly over a furlong less, and as she has won three races here and ought to do even better upped in trip, Magical Wonderland can make it five out of five under top jockey Aldo Domeyer.
