Timeform pick out their three best bets from Chester on Saturday...
"Her owner aims for winners at the track, and she would be a popular winner if able to score..."
Timeform on Monaco Rose
Mojika - Chester 14:35
Mojika is by far the least exposed in this field, with just three starts to her name so far, and with the potential for better now heading into handicaps, this strikes as a good opportunity for her to get off the mark. Bell Heather has never won off a mark so high but would be a threat if bringing her best form to the table, whilst Forever A Lady could also get involved.
Lord Vetinari - Chester 16:20
Lord Vetinari is a colt on the up this season, scoring in good style over C&D on his most recent start, staying on to lead in the final furlong. He will continue to give a good account for a while yet, and is a strong fancy to complete the hat-trick. Gabrial The Devil won by the minimum margin here two weeks ago and is considered, whilst Dragons Tail is another which enters calculations.
Monaco Rose - Chester 17:25
A tricky finale to decode, but Monaco Rose is perhaps worth another chance to build on an encouraging run here 2 starts back having fallen further in the weights. Her owner aims for winners at the track, and she would be a popular winner if able to score - off a mark which is now 6 lb lower than her last winning one. Stablemate Gabrial's King is also too well handicapped to ignore for all he is far from prolific, while Omotesando is in good form and is an each-way contender.
