#7 Emaraaty - Saratoga R5 (20:20 BST)

Emaraaty showed smart form last year when trained by John Gosden and looks an exciting US recruit making his debut for the Chad Brown stable. He does have a layoff to overcome, but that is rarely an issue for one from this barn, and he can take this optional claimer on his way to better things.

#1 Mitole - Saratoga R9 (22:44 BST)

Mitole produced a high-class effort when taking the Metropolitan Handicap over a mile at Belmont last time but he isn't short of speed and can follow up now dropping back to 6f. Imperial Hint is another high-class sprinter at his best and he should make sure that Mitole doesn't have it all his own way.

#5 Tacitus - Saratoga R11 (23:51 BST)

Belmont Stakes runner-up Tacitus drops in trip and grade for the Jim Dandy Stakes and looks worth supporting to record his first win since the Wood Memorial at Aqueduct in April. Preakness second War of Will looks the one to make the selection work hardest, while Tax is another to factor in.
