Angel's Amy has made a solid start to her career in two starts so far, finishing second over C&D on both occasions, and she was seen to maximum effect here last time, when attempting to make all and only getting caught in the dying strides. She looks more than capable of winning a similar race, and is a strong fancy to open her account at the third time of asking.

Aera - Gowran Park 16:10

Aera proved to be a fairly useful performer in six starts for her German yard last year, winning three starts, and she is a fascinating contender on debut for the Anthony Mullins yard this afternoon. She has a 279-day absence to overcome here, but has strong form claims on the pick of her form, and her young rider takes off a useful 7 lb. As such, she looks worth siding with to make a winning start in Ireland - with her relative strength in the market this morning a bonus.

Hillwalker - Gowran Park 16:45

Hillwalker had been riding far too high when finishing last of 14 in the Irish 2000 Guineas at the Curragh in May, but he got back on track to finish third when dropped markedly in grade at Kilarney last time out, and with the extra furlong and a half unlikely to cause him any issues this afternoon, he's a strong fancy to pick up a second career success.
