Timeform pick out their three best bets from Saturday's Irish 2000 Guineas day card at the Curragh...
"He's out of Attraction who won the Irish 1000 Guineas over C&D."
Timeform on Elarqam
TASLEET - 15:35 Curragh
The talented TASLEET kept the highest company after winning a Group 2 at York last term, runner-up in the Diamond Jubilee at Royal Ascot, Haydock Sprint Cup and Champions Sprint, and can make a winning return back down in class. Duke of York runner-up Brando has race fitness on his side and rates a big threat, while Merchant Navy was a Group 1 winner in Australia and is a fascinating contender starting out for Aidan O'Brien.
ELARQAM - 16:10 Curragh
The Mark Johnston-trained ELARQAM ran a cracking race in the Guineas at Newmarket despite still looking rough around the edges and can take the first Irish Classic of 2018 for Britain. He's out of Attraction who won the Irish 1000 Guineas over C&D. Aidan O'Brien seeks a twelfth win and Gustav Klimt looks the pick of his quartet. Zihba has reportedly been purchased by Al Shaqab Racing after his impressive display at Leopardstown and won't give up his unbeaten record easily.
BOND STREET - 17:55 Curragh
It may pay to side with BOND STREET, who appeals as being on a handy mark judged on his exploits this spring, and who has the services of Ryan Moore to aid his cause. He made his first five appearances at the Curragh so should be right at home here once more. This is a good looking race of its type though, with Limerick winner Rock Sound and recent chester fourth Caffe Macchiato just two potential dangers.
