1.55 Betfred Mobile Strensall Stakes (Group 3) (1) 1m177y

Timeform Top Rated:
130 5. MUSTASHRY Sir Michael Stoute Jim Crowley
129 4. MONDIALISTE David O'Meara Daniel Tudhope
126 1. SOVEREIGN DEBT Ruth Carr James Sullivan

Analyst's Verdict:
It took a while to get Mustashry back to the track this term but he's set to make up for lost time based on his Chelmsford handicap success last week and can take the step up in class in his stride. 2015 winner Mondialiste is likely to make bold bid to continue David O'Meara's excellent recent run in this race, while Sovereign Debt is also respected despite conceding weight all round.

2.25 Betfred Melrose Stakes (Heritage Handicap) (2) 1m5f188y

Timeform Top Rated:
121p 19. NORTHWEST FRONTIER Richard Fahey Patrick Mathers
120p 6. MASTER SINGER John Gosden Graham Lee
119p 7. INTELLECT Sir Michael Stoute Richard Kingscote

Analyst's Verdict:
Several to consider in this ultra-competitive handicap. The pick of them could be Northwest Frontier, who just failed at Thirsk this month and the son of Galileo is expected to improve now faced with a stiffer test. Intellect gave his rivals a hammering at Newbury and will be a big threat if proving equally effective on quicker ground here. Master Singer and Qaviy Cash are also of interest.

3.00 Al Basti Equiworld Gimcrack Stakes (Group 2) (1) 6f

Timeform Top Rated:
122 5. HEADWAY William Haggas Harry Bentley
120 1. CARDSHARP Mark Johnston James Doyle
120 3. FROZEN ANGEL Tom Dascombe Richard Kingscote

Analyst's Verdict:
Headway was presumably unsuited by very testing conditions when behind the reopposing Nebo in the Richmond at Glorious Goodwood earlier this month and is well worth another chance to show he's one of the best 6f juveniles around and provide William Haggas with a third winner in this race since 2010. Invincible Army leaves the impression he has more to give and may provide the main threat.

3.35 Betfred Ebor (Heritage Handicap) (2) 1m5f188y

Timeform Top Rated:
124 9. TOP TUG Alan King Martin Harley
123p 16. FLYMETOTHESTARS Sir Mark Prescott Bt Luke Morris
122 18. SEAMOUR Brian Ellison Ben Robinson (5)

Analyst's Verdict:
This race looks tailor-made for Star Storm, who was doing all his best work at the business end when third over 1½m at Royal Ascot last time. That form has been boosted since and the drying ground will be in his favour. Ante-post favourite Flymetothestars is very promising indeed, but he's plenty short enough in the betting. Battersea, Ivan Grozny and Top Tug are others with appealing claims.

4.10 Julia Graves Roses Stakes (Listed) (1) 5f

Timeform Top Rated:
122 3. BENGALI BOYS Richard Fahey Paul Hanagan
118 11. ELIZABETH DARCY Wesley A. Ward David Egan
114 9. PURSUING THE DREAM Jamie Osborne Dougie Costello

Analyst's Verdict:
To Wafij shapes as though he would benefit from a step up to 6f, but the son of Kodiac isn't short of speed and he looks the one to be on having finished third to the smart Havana Grey on his last 2 starts. Bengali Boys landed the Super Sprint in good style and he has to be feared, while Elizabeth Darcy should be on the premises and Pursuing The Dream makes each-way appeal.

4.40 Betfred Supports Jack Berry House Handicap (2) 1¼m56y

Timeform Top Rated:
122 1. KHAIRAAT Sir Michael Stoute Jim Crowley
121 3. BAYDAR Hugo Palmer James Doyle
121 8. UAE PRINCE Roger Varian Harry Bentley

Analyst's Verdict:
Khairaat, UAE Prince and Baydar all suffered interference caused by Dark Red in a handicap at the big Goodwood meeting earlier this month. A compelling case can made for all three, but preference is for Khairaat who did very well to finish so close from a less-than-ideal position that day and, with just half-a-dozen starts under his belt, the Shamardal colt may have more to offer.

5.15 Betfred Apprentice Handicap (2) 5f

Timeform Top Rated:
119 9. BATTEN THE HATCHES David Barron Louis Steward
118 10. CARLTON FRANKIE Michael Easterby Harrison Shaw (7)
118 11. MAYLEAF SHINE Iain Jardine Robbie Downey

Analyst's Verdict:
Pennsylvania Dutch quickly got back on track when third at Leicester last time and, with a strong pace likely to ensue here, he could be the answer off the same mark. The in-form Batten The Hatches is feared most ahead of Carlton Frankie, who will be a danger to all if able to bounce back, and the hat-trick seeking Holmeswood.
