Timeform pick out three bets from Turffontein and Kenilworth on Saturday.
Noceur 12:30 (BST) Turffontein
Noceur is becoming a little frustrating with three second places in a row, the last two when beaten a nose, and then a quarter of a length, both at Vaal. They were also over a mile so the trip is not an issue and this looks a slightly weaker contest than either of those events, and with experience on her side for trainer Alex Laird, Noceur can win at last this afternoon on a track that may suit her even better.
Casual Diamond 12:50 (BST) Kenilworth
Casual Diamond represents the in-form Justin Snaith stable and is looking for her hat-trick here after two consecutive course and distance victories, one in a maiden and then when easily taking a Juvenile Plate by two and a half lengths. She makes her handicap debut here off a rating of 88 which seems fair enough, and with more improvement likely Casual Diamond can make it three in a row this afternoon.
Hemmingway 13:25 (BST) Kenilworth
Hemmingway put in an eye-catching debut when finishing a nose second here over this trip when getting going just a touch too late last month. Weak in the market and drifting from 2/1 to 7/2 she looked the sort to improve considerably for the experience, and if she does then Hemmingway has an excellent chance of breaking her duck here for trainer Andre Nel and jockey Aldo Domeyer.
