1.15 Wedgewood Estates EBF Novice Stakes (4) (D.I) 7f

Timeform Top Rated:
88 7. CUBAN HEEL Clive Cox Adam Kirby
86p 14. RESHAAN Richard Hannon Frankie Dettori
83p 10. FENNAAN John Gosden Jimmy Fortune

Analyst's Verdict:
A really informative contest in store, with Alfarqad and Gronkowski rather standing out on paper. Both fetched plenty at the sales and unsurprisingly hold multiple Group 1 entries, with the former marginally preferred without the benefit of market clues. Richard Hannon has largely adopted a patient approach with his 2-y-os, so Reshaan can only improve.

1.45 Wedgewood Estates EBF Novice Stakes (4) (D.II) 7f

Timeform Top Rated:
94P 6. EMARAATY John Gosden Jim Crowley
93 1. ATEEM Richard Hannon Frankie Dettori
93 10. MAGNIFICENT Richard Hannon Sean Levey

Analyst's Verdict:
Emaraaty is bred in the purple and has a sales price to match, and the positives certainly outweighed the negatives on his debut at Sandown, finishing with running left. He's just the type to improve markedly and show that his Group entries are not fanciful. Baritone and Tour de Paris are potentially the pick of the newcomers.

2.15 Dubai Duty Free Legacy Cup Stakes (Group 3) (1) 1m3f

Timeform Top Rated:
132 4. DESERT ENCOUNTER David Simcock Sean Levey
131 6. MY DREAM BOAT Clive Cox Adam Kirby
131 8. SECOND STEP Roger Charlton Jamie Spencer

Analyst's Verdict:
A very competitive Group 3. It might be worth forgiving Desert Encounter a below-par run in the King George and he could be the way to go if bouncing back to the form of his Eclipse third. Second Set is most reliable at this sort of level and looks sure to figure again, while My Dream Boat should find this a bit easier than the Group 1s he's contested of late and also makes the shortlist.

2.50 Dubai Duty Free Mill Reef Stakes (Group 2) (1) 6f

Timeform Top Rated:
127 4. INVINCIBLE ARMY James Tate Martin Harley
120p 1. ENJAZAAT Owen Burrows Jim Crowley
119 5. JAMES GARFIELD George Scott Frankie Dettori

Analyst's Verdict:
Enjazaat was just behind Invincible Army when the pair clashed in the July Stakes at Newmarket but Owen Burrows' colt was impressive when getting back to winning ways in a Ripon listed event since and might be up to turning the tables on James Tate's charge. James Garfield was nailed on the line in the Acomb and is also much respected with the drop back to 6f not expected to pose him any problems.

3.25 Dubai Duty Free Handicap (2) 1¼m

Timeform Top Rated:
121 3. FIDAAWY Sir Michael Stoute Jim Crowley
120 11. LAW AND ORDER James Tate Martin Harley
120 17. BROROCCO Andrew Balding David Probert

Analyst's Verdict:
Law And Order has a bit of class about him, underlined by the way he shaped in the September Stakes at Kempton last time so, returning to handicap company from an appealing mark, he gets the narrow vote ahead of Fidaawy, another who will ultimately establish himself as a pattern performer. Brorocco and Erik The Red are others to consider in a wide-open handicap.

4.00 Dubai International Airport World Trophy Stakes (Group 3) (1) 5f34y

Timeform Top Rated:
131 12. TAKE COVER David C. Griffiths David Allan
131 2. MUTHMIR William Haggas Jim Crowley
130 5. COTAI GLORY Charles Hills Silvestre De Sousa

Analyst's Verdict:
Last year's winner Cotai Glory looked as good as ever when third in the Nunthorpe at York last month before finding the ground too testing at the Curragh 2 weeks ago. He's taken to defend his crown at the main expense of Take Cover, Muthmir and Waady.

4.35 Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise Handicap (3) 1½m

Timeform Top Rated:
110p 8. WEEKENDER John Gosden Frankie Dettori
109 9. DAPHNE William Haggas Ryan Moore
106 6. SEAFARER Marcus Tregoning Pat Dobbs

Analyst's Verdict:
Weekender was a cosy winner at Newmarket in June, and with further progress likely up in trip, he's taken to score again. Daphne showed her battling characteristics on a couple of occasions last season and has to be feared on her first start of the year, while Okool is likely to continue in good form.

5.05 Heatherwold Stud Handicap (4) 7f

Timeform Top Rated:
100 3. INNER CIRCLE Richard Hannon Sean Levey
98 4. PURSUING STEED Hughie Morrison Charlie Bennett (3)
97 8. MULTICULTURAL James Tate Martin Harley

Analyst's Verdict:
A mark of 80 could underestimate Killay given how the form of her last 2 efforts has worked out and, with an appealing, speedy pedigree to fall back on, a chance is taken on her to prove comfortably ahead of her opening mark. Inner Circle would be a huge threat if in the same mood as last time (pulled clear with an improver), while hat-trick seeker Dourado has to be considered, too.
