Timeform pick out bets from Newbury on Saturday...
Emaraaty - 13:45 Newbury
Emaraaty is bred in the purple and he has a sales price to match, and the positives certainly outweighed the negatives on his debut at Sandown, finishing with running left. He's a well-made, attractive sort who seemed to be carrying condition on his debut and was considerately handled, too, and he's just the type to improve markedly for that experience and show that his Group entries are not fanciful. Baritone and Tour de Paris are potentially the pick of the newcomers.
Enjazaat - 14:50 Newbury
Enjazaat was just behind Invincible Army when the pair clashed in the July Stakes at Newmarket, but Owen Burrows' colt was impressive when getting back to winning ways in a Ripon listed event since and might be up to turning the tables on James Tate's charge with further improvement forthcoming. James Garfield was nailed on the line in the Acomb and is also much respected with the drop back to 6f not expected to pose him any problems.
Weekender - 16:35 Newbury
Weekender was a cosy winner when last seen at Newmarket in June, staying on well inside the final furlong to beat a couple of unexposed sorts split by and experienced one. The form of that race has worked out well, with the third winning next time, and a subsequent 5 lb rise could underestimate this lightly raced, well-bred son of Frankel. Weekender is stepped up two furlongs in trip here, but both his pedigree and run style suggest he'll be suited by it, and he remains one to keep on the right side for now. Daphne showed her battling characteristics on a couple of occasions last season and has to be feared on her first start of the year, while Okool is likely to continue in good form.
