Timeform pick out bets from Kenilworth and Turffontein on Saturday...
"He he has been left on the same mark by the handicapper after being beaten a length and a half by Pen-Chan last time out..."
Green Archer 12:25 (GMT) Kenilworth
Green Archer stands out in what looks a really weak race after his close-up length and a half fifth here over a furlong shorter last time, on only his second run. Sent off a 28/1 chance that day, it seems safe to assume there is more to come from the son of Gimmethegreenlight, and with the Justin Snaith stable in great form, Green Archer looks to have been found a very good opportunity to get off the mark at the third attempt.
Let's Twist 13:20 (GMT) Turffontein
Let's Twist is in the capable hands of Mike de Kock, and has the best form on offer here by some margin. The Mambo In Seattle filly followed a quarter of a length second at Vaal with a length second here over the mile when running on strongly, and with an added two furlongs now she ought to be able to win this before being sent handicapping. Randall Simons rides the three-year-old who can only get better with experience, and Let's Twist would be a shock loser here in a race she really ought to win.
Western Storm 13:35 (GMT) Kenilworth
Western Storm has been frustrating his supporters recently with three second places over this course and distance following his fourth career win at Durbanville in October. As a son of Var this five furlongs is ideal. He he has been left on the same mark by the handicapper after being beaten a length and a half by Pen-Chan last time out, is due a change of luck and will be unlucky to run in to another well-handicapped rival in this field.
