Timeform pick out their three best bets from Navan on Saturday...
"...he's taken to get off the mark at the second time of asking..."
Timeform on Westland Row
Westland Row - Navan 14:45
Westland Row produced a promising first effort over fences to finish second at Thurles last month, matching the fairly useful form he had shown over hurdles straight away. He shaped well that day, and sets a clear standard in this contest. As such, he's taken to get off the mark at the second time of asking at the expense of the far more exposed Ah Littleluck.
Milanesque - Navan 15:20
A poor contest, in which it looks worth siding with Milanesque. He ran better for a while when plugging on to take fifth at Fairyhouse on New Year's Day, beaten 10 lengths. Dropped 3 lb for that effort by the handicapper, he looks to be on a workable mark at the moment, and provided he can build on his most recent effort, he looks up to taking this. Cap'n is exposed but a player at this level for his new trainer, whilst Fergiethelegend is another to consider.
Larquebuse - Navan 15:50
Larquebuse failed to justify strong market support when only third on Rules debut at Limerick last month, but she showed more than enough to suggest that she was capable of winning a race of this nature on the day; only just beaten and edging left inside the final furlong but always closing to the line. Stablemate and newcomer Lady of Elysium is likely to pose the biggest threat, ahead of Papal Pearl and Zhenya.
