Timeform pick out their best bets from Cork and Tramore on Saturday...
"...produced comfortably the best effort of his career to date when getting off the mark in handicap company at Sligo last time..."
Timeform on Pearl Warrior
HIELLA - 16:20 Cork
HIELLA continued the theme of race-by-race progress when opening her account at the Curragh eight days ago, leading a furlong out and finding plenty when challenged thereafter to get the verdict by a neck. She starts out in handicaps from a potentially lenient mark, with the prospect of even more to come after only four starts, and a bold follow-up bid is expected for the Johnny Murtagh yard that continues in top form (four winners from last 14 runners). Kodiqueen and Master Matt complete the shortlist.
DELPHINIA - 16:55 Cork
DELPHINIA relished the step up to this trip when an excellent fifth in the Oaks at Epsom, and a reproduction of that form will probably be good enough to see her come out on top here, representing the Aidan O'Brien yard that has won four of the last 10 renewals of this race. Tarnawa was well behind the selection at Epsom but is expected to get closer this time, while Moteo has been knocking on the door at this level and is likely to figure again.
PEARL WARRIOR - 17:40 Tramore
Johnny Murtagh is fancied to make it two on the day when PEARL WARRIOR lines up in this minor event. He produced comfortably the best effort of his career to date when getting off the mark in handicap company at Sligo last time, winning by four and three quarter lengths with plenty seemingly in hand, and that form gives him the edge here over Champagne Terri, who rates by far the biggest danger following another good effort in defeat at Galway (possibly made effort earlier than ideal).
