Timeform pick out three bets from Lingfield on Saturday...

"with Ryan Moore booked to ride, it would be no surprise if she kept improving over the coming weeks."

Timeform on Flattering

Flattering - 13:55 Lingfield

Flattering took a huge step forward from her first start when scorching clear to score at Cork last Saturday, and a repeat of that would make her very hard to beat here. Aidan O'Brien generally does very well in the classic trials, winning this with Seventh Heaven back in 2016, and with Ryan Moore booked to ride, it would be no surprise if she kept improving over the coming weeks. Stream Song caught the eye when winning despite everything going wrong at Windsor last time and has claims, whilst Lady of Shalott and Ejtyah are both unbeaten after one start apiece and are others to consider in an open heat.

Kew Gardens - 14:30 Lingfield

Kew Gardens is the obvious starting point in the Derby Trial, and will be very difficult to beat. He disappointed slightly when only finishing third despite being well-backed at Newmarket last month, but he was a useful performer as a two-year-old, winning the listed Zetland Stakes towards the end of the season, and he may well strip fitter for his first run back. Aidan O'Brien has won two of the past five renewals of this particular trial, and can collect some more prize money. Corelli has won each of his last two starts without being asked a serious question and merits consideration, whilst there should be more to come yet from Knight To Behold and Star of Southwold.

Whitefountainfairy - 17:50 Lingfield

Whitefountainfairy was a runner-up in the Group 3 Prestige Stakes on her final start of last season at Glorious Goodwood, form which has worked out very well since. That is by far the best form on offer in this, and provided that she's fully tuned up, she will take some stopping on reappearance. Natural was a useful two-year-old and is a threat on the pick of her form, whilst Island of Life appeals as the sort who will have improved over the winter and could well run into a place.
