Timeform pick out their three best bets from Fairyhouse on Saturday afternoon...

"...shaped well in listed company on his hurdle debut at the start of the year and looks the one to beat having won a bumper since then."

Timeform on Lone Wolf

LONE WOLF - 13:55 Fairyhouse

The Joseph O'Brien-trained LONE WOLF shaped well in listed company on his hurdle debut at the start of the year and looks the one to beat having won a bumper since then. He can make a winning return at the expense of Raya Time who has the potential to leave the bare form of his hurdle debut behind and could pose a big threat. Column of Fire is also much respected now hurdling on the back of his Navan bumper win.

ECLAT DES MOTTES - 14:30 Fairyhouse

He has a little to find on Timeform ratings, but ECLAT DES MOTTES was a good winner on his yard/hurdles bow at Downpatrick in August and, with progress a distinct possibility moving forward, he can make it 2-2 in this sphere. Court Tycoon, who produced a career best from 3 lb out of the handicap at Carlisle last time, and recent Gowran winner Inca Gold are fancied to give the selection most to do.

VALDIEU- 15:40 Fairyhouse

The Noel Meade-trained VALDIEU is beginning to look exposed after five starts in this sphere, yet his consistency is hard to knock, and this looks a good opportunity for him to get off the mark. Newcomer Yendo won't have to be anything out of the ordinary to figure though, whilst Miss Shoe City cannot be written off just yet for Willie Mullins.

Minimum Bet Guarantee

Betfair's 'minimum bet guarantee' on all Class 1 and 2 races in the UK and Ireland - which means all customers are able to bet to win a minimum of £500 - has been extended to cover all races at selected meetings this week. T&Cs apply.
