"...this maiden should be hers for the taking with that experience now under her belt."

Timeform on Heartwarming

17:50 - None of these looks particularly solid and as such, LIGHT OF AIR (4) could be worth chancing. He shaped as though coming to the boil when third to the progressive Trouble And Strife at Lingfield and dropping back in trip shouldn't be an issue on this stiffer track. A reproduction of Zambeasy's latest C&D effort would put him firmly in the picture and Freud will also be a threat if going to post.

18:20 - HEARTWARMING (1) made a most promising start to her career when hitting the crossbar over C&D last month, running green when produced to challenge a furlong out, and this maiden should be hers for the taking with that experience now under her belt. Symphony and Lucky Charm both shaped well on their respective debuts and can fill the places.

18:55 - GLAMOROUS ROCKET (8) failed in her bid to complete the 4-timer at Haydock last time, but she would surely have gone close had she steered a true course in the closing stages. On that evidence, this mark is by no means beyond her and she may have more to offer given her progressive profile. The consistent Delagate This Lord is feared most, though cases can also be made for Waseem Faris and Outrage.

19:25 - In the absence of a confirmed front-runner one suspects that RACE DAY (1) may be allowed to stretch on, tactics which served him very well during his 2-y-o campaign. If that proves to be the case he could take some pegging back. Magical Effect needs things to drop right but has finished runner-up on each of his last 3 starts and he has to be feared, while C&D winner Frank Bridge also merits respect.

20:00 - Despite the small turnout, this should be a truly-run race and MR MINERALS (1) may well deliver a telling late blow. He didn't get the breaks last time, but going back up in trip on this stiffer track should play to his strengths and he's on a handy mark. The hat-trick seeking Icart Point is a much-respected main danger, while Employer is also unexposed and The Last Emperor needs considering, too.

20:30 - There could be more to come from JUST IN TIME (5) this season, and he left the impression that this intermediate trip would be just the ticket when fourth on his reappearance over 2m at Kempton. Alan King's charge had Petitioner back in seventh on that occasion and may again prove too good for that rival. Al Kout may well appreciate this stiffer test and is most interesting of the remainder.
