18:05 - FAIR COP (4) did too much too soon on her handicap bow at Windsor and is worth another chance in this opening leg of the Placepot, having looked a useful prospect when winning her maiden at the same track in May. This does look competitive, however, with Tahoo, Ocelot and Blitz all arriving on the back of career-best wins.

18:35 - GROUNDNUT (10) confirmed the promise of her debut when finding only Simply Breathless too strong at Salisbury a month ago, and is weighted to reverse the form with that rival. Cheeky Rascal is the type to go on progressing and is the pick of the rest unless there's significant support behind a newcomer.

19:05 - HARBA (3) showed improved form to get off the mark at Beverley last time and looks potentially very well treated on handicap debut. Indeed, that form leaves her 5 lb clear of the field on Timeform ratings here and, with the prospect of more to come after just four starts, Harba is taken to see off the attentions of recent Kempton winner Dragon Dream and can continue the fine form of trainer William Haggas (14 winners from his last 46 runners).

19:40 - SELECTION (4) made all in a small field when beating a subsequent winner at Yarmouth last month and may be able to dominate again. He makes most appeal in first-time cheekpieces with the Placepot in mind, though an interesting alternative is the lightly-raced three-year-old Make Time, who was far from disgraced in face of a stiff task in the Greenham on return and remains with potential.

20:10 - EYNHALLOW (2) shaped encouragingly when third on his most recent outing at Goodwood, enduring a troubled passage as the field entered the closing stages and doing extremely well under the circumstances to be beaten just a length. He is able to race off the same mark here and should prove extremely difficult to beat if enjoying more luck under Kieran Shoemark. Okool is much better than he was able to show when last of four at Chester last time and looks the main danger if bouncing back.

20:40 - VEILED SECRET (2) is bred for this sort of test and duly produced a career best when stepped up to this trip here last month. It is likely we haven't seen the best of him yet and he is taken to land this concluding leg of the Placepot. Sussex Ranger is also on the upgrade and is feared most, whilst Padrinho and The Secrets Out also enter calculations.

Placepot permutation:

18:10 - 4
18:40 - 10
19:10 - 3
19:40 - 4
20:10 - 2
20:40 - 2
