Mia's Boy got back on the scoreboard over this trip at Lingfield in April, and hard to knock consistency at that venue this winter. Takes a drop in class here.
Myboyalfie enjoyed a productive 2012 scoring 5 times on AW/turf. Not in same for form in a light campaign last year, and back from a break now. Usual visor left off.
Subtle Knife did well once switched to handicaps in 2012, successful at Brighton and here. Well held sole outing last year, however, and again when well fifth on return at Lingfield (7f) last month.
Idol Deputy made his first start back with James Bennett a winning one in 9.5f Wolverhampton handicap in April. Not so good over C&D in September, though, and back from a break now.
Sound Advice looked better than ever when winning at Thirsk (1m) in August, and has run well on several occasions in defeat since, including when second at Southwell (1m) last month. Each-way claims again.
Silverheels landed a 1m Ripon handicap in July, and back on the scoreboard in Deauville claimer (7.5f, blinkered) early this month. Needs to build on that now, though.
Jay Bee Blue was in the form of his life when scoring 3 times on polytrack in October/November. Back to form of late, and one to consider.
Toga Tiger landed a polytrack hat-trick early last year and back on track when 2 lengths third over 7f here last month. Step back up in trip should help, but he remains 4 lb above his last winning mark.
Ruzeiz showed fair form in France when trained by John Hammond but pulled too hard on return for new yard at Southwell. Not seen to best effect over 10f here latest, and it remains early days.
Coincidently won a 7f maiden here in 2012 and bounced back to winning ways at Musselburgh when last seen in September. Not seen out since, but yard in decent nick of late, so worth a market check on return.
Appease is a C&D maiden winner who was a good second on Bath (10f) handicap debut (final start for Richard Hannon) in September. Left poorly placed on second start for new yard latest, and cheekpieces on now.
Timeform 1-2-3:
1. Appease
2. Silverheels
3. Mia's Boy
Timeform View: Mia's Boy should appreciate the drop in class having been plying his trade in some hot Lingfield events of late, whilst Silverheels gained a confidence boosting claiming success in France last time and can also figure. However it may just be worth chancing previous C&D winner Appease who wasn't seen to best effect last time and who remains unexposed handicapping-wise.
