Whispering Warrior Modest form all 3 outings in maidens for Jeremy Noseda but left that form well behind when making winning handicap debut on first run for this yard at Lingfield. Will go on improving.

California English Won C&D maiden in December 2011 and placed 2 of first 3 starts in handicaps over same C&D. Back to form when second at Wolverhampton last time and respected.

Fairyinthewind In good form, runner-up 3 times prior to resuming winning ways at Lingfield last month. Caught wide last week and likely to go well.

Buckland Didn't need to improve when finally getting off the mark in a 6f Wolverhampton maiden in November. Had little luck in running since, and remains on a workable mark, so needs bearing in mind.

Diplomatic All 5 wins achieved on polytrack, most recently when springing a shock over C&D in October. Not so good last time but type to bounce back.

Breakheart Not straightforward but C&D form since rejoining this yard reads 1214. Rated much higher than this at his best so no surprise if he went close.

Warbond Won C&D handicap in February and consistent since. Unlikely to be far away again despite being 1 lb out of the weights.
