Timeform provide a runner-by-runner guide to a two-mile handicap chase at Ludlow on Thursday...
Lord Navits continues to go from strength to strength and has good claims of landing the 4-timer if keeping the mistakes down.
Strongly Suggested got firmly back on track over hurdles last summer, winning at Market Rasen (2) and Stratford. Let down by jumping on chase bow here in November and might be too high in the weights anyway
Ted Dolly matched his winning hurdles form over fences without success but generally opposable in current fettle, beaten long way out after 3 months off for new yard at Kempton.
Lord Navits improved for the switch to yard/fitting of this headgear to score on all 3 starts over fences this year, not always fluent but making all at Southwell (2m) to land hat-trick. Leading claims again.
Noche de Reyes was a winning hurdler who didn't progress as perhaps was expected on third go over fences at Kempton on Saturday after 8 weeks off. More needed.
Bullet Street made a winning hurdling debut at Limerick in 2012 and better form in defeat for this yard, another good run over fences when second at Sandown (2m) last time. Needs to keep quirks in check.
Come On Annie was a 4-time winner over hurdles, including twice for this handler/rider since turn of the year. Aidan Coleman takes over on chase bow. Worth a look.
Blackwater King was a hurdles winner who has become disappointing, well held all 3 runs over fences this season.
Edlomond wins have come in claiming hurdles and only shown one piece of worthwhile form over fences. Easy to put a line through.
Timeform 1-2-3:
1. Lord Navits
2. Bullet Street
3. Come On Annie
Timeform View: Lord Navits continues to go from strength to strength and has good claims of landing the 4-timer if keeping the mistakes down. Bullet Street is quirky but doubtless has races over fences in him if putting it altogether, while Come On Annie could be interesting on her chase bow with a fully-fledged rider up for just the second time in her career.
