Zain Eagle bolted up in a maiden at Ripon on his belated return in August (1m) and even better when scoring over C&D the following month. Not seen to best effect at Chester last time, and remains one to note.
Ajman Bridge landed a 1m Kempton maiden on debut in December and picked up where he left off to win a handicap at Pontefract last month. Lost his unbeaten record at Newmarket, but remains one to keep on side.
Cruck Realta confirmed herself a useful filly when landing a listed contest at Newbury in June. Has generally held her form since, but she remains vulnerable to less-exposed types.
Stepping Ahead followed up a maiden success at Nottingham with a 7-length victory at Pontefract in May, both at around 1m, but he's disappointed in a trio of outings since, and has plenty to prove now.
Groundbreaking is a 450,000 gns half-brother to useful 6f/8.6f winner Atlantis Star. Looked a good prospect when landing a C&D maiden by 4 lengths on debut and not disgraced when fifth at Goodwood since. Should improve.
Matrooh won a 1m maiden here in May and shaped well under the circumstances when third to Remote in a handicap next time. Fifth in a valuable event at Newmarket in July, though he hasn't been seen since.
Squire Osbaldeston is a well-regarded colt who opened his account after a break in a Lingfield AW maiden last month, staying on strongly and value for extra. Remains with potential now going handicapping back on turf.
Madame Vestris has progressed on each turf start this year, winning a maiden at Leicester in June and third in handicaps at Sandown/Chester the next twice. Back on turf after a below par effort at Kempton last time.
Spirit of Rio made it third time lucky in maidens when scoring in decisive fashion at Ripon in August. Failed to build on that on his handicap debut over that C&D later that month, though.
1. Ajman Bridge
2. Squire Oasbaldeston
Timeform View: Ajman Bridge wasn't seen to best advantage when losing his unbeaten record at Newmarket earlier this month and can bounce straight back here. Squire Osbaldeston and Groundbreaking appeal most of his rivals.
