Timeform take you through the card at Pontefract on Friday evening...
"...he looks to have outstanding claims in this off 1 lb lower."
Timeform on Zlatan
18:30 - ZLATAN (1) ran his best race for a while when second at Chepstow last week, just getting edged out by a progressive rival, and he looks to have outstanding claims in this off 1 lb lower. He can score if in the same form. Course-regular Trinity Star is slipping down to a workable mark and is perhaps the biggest threat in a wide-open heat.
19:00 - AZAM (2) is in good form at the moment, staying on well in a first-time hood to finish a creditable second at Nottingham just under two weeks ago. He's a big threat if repeating that run here, and is taken to resume winning ways. New Society will find life tougher raised 5 lb after winning at Catterick last month, but he rates as the biggest threat, ahead of Alfred Richardson.
19:30 - CELEBRITY DANCER (1) looked a potentially useful sort when making a winning debut here at the beginning of the month, winning with a great deal of authority. He seems sure to do better now upped to 6 furlongs on his second start, and gets the vote to follow up. Ninetythreetwenty is another who made a winning start last time, scoring at Doncaster, and is respected, whilst The Greatestshowman is respected after a solid start at Newbury last month.
20:00 - An open heat, in which MUSHARRIF (6) is taken to bounce back to form. He needs to shake off a poor run at Southwell last time, but he's been given plenty of time to recover, and returns from a 140-day break on his last winning mark. Returned to the minimum trip, a bold bid isn't out of the question. Patrick has shown enough on two starts for Paul Midgley to suggest that a race of this level is within his reach and is respected, whilst Tavener is in good heart this year and can go well from the plum draw.
20:30 - SEMPRE PRESTO (10) tries handicap company for the first time, and it would be no surprise should she prove a different proposition now switched to this company. She gets the vote in an open heat with plenty of improvement expected. She's Pukka seemed to be caught out by the lack of a recent run at Wetherby and she may yet do better, while Inflexiball ought to remain competitive.
21:00 - This looks a good opportunity for ANGELS (2) to follow up her impressive success at Ripon last time out. She won in impressive style at the garden racecourse two weeks ago, and she will take all of the beating in this. Breaking Records drops out of handicaps and might be her biggest danger ahead of likely-improver Begging Bowl.
