Timeform take you through the card at Plumpton on Monday.
14:30 - COHESION (2) can boast very useful form on the Flat and makes most appeal on hurdling debut in what looks an informative contest to kick off the Placepot. Action Replay will likely come into his own over further, but is still an obvious threat for powerful connections, while bumper-winners Larry and Highway One O One have to be considered, too.
15:00 - MRS BURBIDGE (5) failed to convince on her two previous attempts over fences, but she has been progressive over hurdles in the meantime and is potentially well treated in this sphere. Stoical Patient was much improved when making a winning debut for this stable 13 months ago and needs considering despite her long absence, while Pretty Reckless is another to note having done well to win at Warwick last month.
15:30 - CHEQUE EN BLANC (10) was out of sorts when last seen on a racecourse at Southwell in May, but he is beginning to look well treated on the pick of his efforts, and it would be no surprise were a switch of yards to spark a revival. New trainer Gary Moore has a good record in this race, and he is likely to have left no stone unturned in Cheque En Blanc's preparation for a race lacking strength in depth. Rob Robin won well over C&D last month and looks best of the rest.
16:00 - RIDGEWAY FLYER (5) won two of his five starts over hurdles for Harry Fry, including when a workmanlike winner of his final 2016/17 start at Taunton in April. A likeable type, he has the scope for further improvement now chasing and, having been keener than ideal on occasions last season, the application of a hood for the first time is another positive on his debut for the Paul Nicholls yard. Accord is feared most on the back of an impressive chasing debut at Fontwell.
16:30 - BENEFICIAL JOE (4), a winner at Uttoxeter two weeks ago, rates the percentage call in this penultimate leg of the Placepot, a race where many have questions to answer at present. Invicta Lake and Kris Spin have been given every chance by the assessor and market support for either on return would look significant.
17:00 - CRAFTY ROBERTO (3) has gone well fresh before and remains on a handy mark, so could well be the answer for the Alex Hales yard. Saffron Prince arrives in good heart and is next best ahead of Flashman.
17:30 - ST ANDREWS (4) is a recent winner on the Flat, who ran his best race to date over hurdles on handicap bow at Worcester. He makes most appeal in the finale with the prospect of more to come.
