Today's UK Flat action comes from Nottingham

There is a good card at Nottingham today and that is where we head for today's Placepot attempt...

"With the current favourite Figment struggling on her first try at a mile at Doncaster she is worth taking on back over the same trip here."

14:15 - Adham represents an in-form yard who scored with a debutant on Thursday last week, the early market support for the horse in the opener at Nottingham is significant and could show that he is ready to go first time up.

14:45 - El Massivo won off a 3lb higher mark than this in 2013 and will have benefited from his reappearance run for Brian Ellison who is enjoying a good spell of form recently. Kathlatino represents another yard going well and is clearly capable off this mark, having won off it in last season at Newcastle.

15:15 - This is a tough race, with plenty of unexposed three-year-olds on show. Perfect Peak is one of those and is worth giving another chance on handicap debut having not got home over 6 furlongs last time out at Newcastle. It is also interesting to see Silvestre De Sousa booked on Samsamsam for the Robert Cowell yard, he showed little in his three maiden races last season but will have likely been brought along with handicaps in mind.

15:45 - Top Boy won off a 3lb higher mark than this last season and is worth giving another chance here having been given no chance by the draw last time at Chester after previously showing himself in good heart on the all-weather. The veteran Judge 'N Jury is now operating off the lowest mark he has done for some time and he could be a danger to all considering he showed that he still retains ability on his reappearance at Lingfield.

16:15 - Rive Gauche is the class horse in this field having just been touched off in listed company last time out at York and should certainly not be seen out of the places barring a mishap.

16:45 - With the current favourite Figment struggling on her first try at a mile at Doncaster she is worth taking on back over the same trip here. The two that look most likely to get ahead of her are Bella Nouf, who was not given a hard time on debut last season and represnts a yard in top form at the moment, and Freedom Rock, who was not without promise on debut at Newbury in April.
