Timeform take you through Wednesday's card at Nottingham...
"...shaped with a little more encouragement when last seen at Chelmsford and remains very well-treated for this return to turf."
Timeform on Torch
14:20 - CAPLA ROCK (3) has to be the percentage call on the back of an encouraging C&D debut third, but there are a number of interesting newcomers up against her so strong market support for Heartwarming this morning has to be taken seriously. Kodyanna and Double Quick are also respected, however Capla Rock showed more than enough over C%D on debut to suggest she shouldn't be out of the first three here.
14:50 - The former Saeed bin Suroor-trained ISLAND OF LIFE (1) made an encouraging start for new connections when fourth in a useful minor contest at Lingfield 18 days ago, and with further progress on the cards, her opening mark may prove to be generous, especially with the prospect of an easy lead. Both Sitar and Socialites Red won twice at this venue in 2017 and head the opposition.
15:20 - HARVEST DAY (9) wasn't seen to best effect when denied the hat-trick at Beverley two weeks ago but it was still an improved effort on form so she should have more to offer yet, with this drop in trip in her favour. The unexposed Melodies remains with potential now handicapping and is next best ahead of Salisbury maiden winner Autumn Leaves.
15:50 - DAIRA PRINCE (7) could really kick on now following his successful return here 3 weeks ago and, having won three of his last five starts, is taken to go in again despite effectively racing off 7 lb higher here. Bless Him and Tricorn, first and third in last year's Britannia, and Seniority, all have pressing claims also in a hot-looking handicap.
16:20 - A very open heat in which it may be worth giving FISHER GREEN (5) another chance. His latest run is easily overlooked given it came only 24 hours after a reappearance effort which suggested he's more than capable of winning races for his new yard. Iconic Belle arrives in form and should go well again, while Channel Packet is also respected on the back of an improved second over 1m here last time, however John Butler - whose horses are in good form at present - does well with his horses when they return after a break and TORCH (8) fits the bill. He only has one win to his name (when trained by Richard Hannon), but shaped with a little more encouragement when last seen at Chelmsford and remains very well-treated for this return to turf.
16:50 - Horse In Focus DAGUENEAU (6) might be able to reverse Beverley form with Quantatmental, with Tom Dascombe's charge having been seen to maximum effect there. With James Doyle taking over in the saddle, Dagueneau can open his account with more luck this time. Brighton-winner Sassie could have even more to offer and needs keeping on side.
17:20 - ZAPPER CASS found 5f at Catterick too sharp last time and is worth another chance to build on the promise of his reappearance third having dipped to a mark 12 lb lower than when scoring over C&D last summer. Sarabi was first home of those to race stands' side when third in a big field at Thirsk last time and merits respect, while Krazy Paving can continue his run of decent form.
