At Great Leighs today in the 3.05 Sotik Star should have too many guns for his rivals in this selling race over one mile. This gelding has been keeping better company recently and won a small handicap at Bath back in August. In addition, he does receive weight from his main rivals. Currently he is trading at [2.04] on the exchange.

At Ayr today in the opening race at 12.50 Signalman should go very close in this novice hurdle.This horse was my 80/20 selection yesterday but didn't run following the cancellation of the Kelso card. Today's race is weaker and he is currently trading at [2.78]. As previously stated, I believe he is still improving and his rider claims a valuable 7lbs.

Over at Lingfield today in the 1.45 Commandingpresence is a horse of interest in this maiden run on the Polytrack. This well-bred filly by Kentucky Derby winner Thunder Gulch ran well on debut finishing second to Scene Two at Wolverhampton last month. She is sure to have benefited from that experience and she should be very hard to beat today. Currently she is trading at [2.08] on the exchange.

At Kelso today in the 2.40 Moscow Catch should prove difficult to beat. Last time out he beat today's 80/20 selection Signalman in good style. This horse is proven in the conditions and faces only a few with a realistic chance of winning. Currently this horse is trading at [2.1] on the exchange and this price reflects his chance today.

At Great Leighs today in the 2.25, La Estrella has a good chance to complete a five timer in this claiming event. A couple of days ago out he bolted up at Southwell beating St Savarin by six lengths and in truth it could have been more. Today he has a little more to do but this gelding is in the form of his life and his price of [2.8] looks appropriate.

At Wolverhampton today in the opening race at 2.20, Kheley is a filly that should improve a little on her last run when she met interference in running behind Tillers Satisfied over this course.
